In the summer of 2024, one of our key projects was managing a private jet service for an artist’s European tour. Flights were scheduled every 2–3 days, running from June through to September.

“VIP customers are part of our everyday work, but this tour stood out for its duration—it was exceptional to fly for the same client all summer,” says Head of Unit Mikko Keso.

The summer of 2024 was one of the busiest for aviation in years, which brought unique challenges to organising tour flights.

“Our customer travelled across Europe, often to the most in-demand destinations. Securing flight slots at busy airports like Ibiza and Nice was more complicated than usual, especially as some airports don’t allow night operations,” explains OCC Team Leader Lotta Holmström.

Despite these challenges, the flights ran smoothly, and Euroflite handled the inevitable surprises that come with private flying with ease. “Our team’s expertise and experience are evident in the way we handle surprises. We have tact and creativity to solve unexpected challenges.” Holmström adds.

“The overall experience was a success, and our customer was very satisfied. VIP clients often have particular preferences, so having a reliable and trusted crew is essential. We delivered on that,” says Captain Mikko Yrjö-Koskinen.

Throughout the tour, a group of 10–16 passengers was flown on each leg, with their in-flight comfort ensured by Cabin Assistant Maria Lindquist.

“Sometimes, the requests for food and beverages were very specific, and I would pick up desired dishes and drinks from different restaurants. Over the summer, we became familiar with the passengers’ favourites in different destinations.” Lindquist shares.

“For instance, last summer, in honour of the European Football Championship, we surprised the passengers with jerseys. It’s the small touches that make a big impact,” Yrjö-Koskinen explains.

“I believe they appreciated the thought we put into these gestures. They told us it wasn’t just about having professional staff and a great aircraft—it was about who we are as a team. By the end of the summer, they referred to us as their ‘travelling family.’ Their parting words, ‘See you next summer’, confirmed that we had met the service standards we strive for in everything we do,” Lindquist concludes.
